From July 8th to 12th, “Meeting at Yancheng” Cross-Strait Students' Academic Camp hosted by JSMC and co-organized by the Yancheng Taiwan Affairs Office was held in Yancheng. At the opening ceremony, vice president Mrs. Gao Xiaoxiang, Director of the Yancheng Taiwan Affairs Office Mr. Yin Guiyao and Vice President Mr. Wang Qikang from Yuanpei University of Medical Technology all delivered speeches to more than 60 teachers and students from across the strait.
After the opening ceremony, teachers and students from Taiwan and JSMC actively got together and visited the simulation center in JSMC and tried the new devices for aged-care and emergency care. During the next few days of the camp, students were organized by JSMC and the Yancheng Taiwan Affairs Office to some famous cultural relics and scenery points in Yancheng, including the Dayang Bay, the Nature Reserve for Milu deer and UNESCO World Cultural Heritage--the Yellow Sea Forest Park of Wetlands.
